But Dave is industry friend, colleague. We've known each other for a few years now. And we happened to be in the same main event draft. Couldn't have been more opposite at the table. You were sitting 14. I was sitting one. And it was just as always a live main event is always loaded. This felt like an especially loaded league. And you're doing very doing very well right now my friend you're in first place uh got a nice like eight point lead on see jipinka

uh and you've been you've been there for about a month now you started slowly and just kept roaring

and haven't stopped yet yeah it's uh it's it's it's been we've been on a run lately for sure. You know, I, we kind of talked about this before we started here, but I, we were not happy about getting the 14 pick.

Oddly enough with all the early busts, like if you didn't get Bobby Witt in the first half of the first round, you're probably not happy with your team

right now. So, you know, we were not happy with 14 and we passed on Otani twice. I think we're

probably the only team in the top 20 who drafted towards the end and didn't take Otani because

we started. Didn't get punished for it. Right. Right. Well, sort of. I mean, you know, listen, we would, we would take Otani over,

over, definitely over Bryce Harper, but probably over J.R.m as well. He's having just a monster

season. But yeah, those two, that was our plan coming in was we were like, okay, you know,

we want to target J. Ram and, uh, and Harper. And we felt like that would give us a good, like the only way we could, we felt, we want to target J-Ram and Harper.

And we felt like that would give us a good, like the only way we felt like we could keep up in a main event because we felt like we were behind the eight ball starting with the 14

slots.

So, and then as you tweeted out live while we were drafting, for anybody who doesn't know,

Jeff loves to tweet during his main events. I could never do this like i i'm way too zoned in to uh to tweet during it but

perhaps i should learn from that by the but it helps having a partner um i'm sitting over there on the

end i'm isolated um you know keep my talking to a minimum So I just tweet out the picks a little bit there.
