0:13.5	on Easter, the death of Jesus on the cross and his resurrection from the grave, has massive implications for every single one of our lives in this room.
0:26.2	And that leads me to the passage I want to show you in the Bible today.
0:29.6	So it's actually in the last book of the Bible called Revelation.

0:41.2	This is one of my favorite passages in the Bible for many reasons, but let me set the stage.
0:46.3	So this book of the Bible called Revelation is written by a follower of Jesus named John,
0:53.1	who was one of the first people to go to Jesus' tomb
0:57.2	2,000 years ago and find that it was empty. And after that, he spent his entire life
1:04.4	telling people about who Jesus is and what Jesus had done. And it cost him. He actually wrote
1:10.0	this book of the Bible from an island where he had
1:13.1	been exiled as a prisoner because of his faith in Jesus. And this book is unique because it's
1:20.7	filled with incredible imagery and symbols. The verses we're about to read contain a picture of heaven in the future that's filled
1:30.4	with fascinating imagery that shows why the death and resurrection of Jesus is, in a sense,
1:37.8	the most important event in all of history and why it has power to change your history
1:43.8	forever, which I know is a bold statement,
1:47.2	but just look at it with me. We're just going to go verse by verse, and I'll explain the imagery
