0:19.0

they can also enjoy the journey. You see, we're all

0:23.0

travelers in this world, and God has many wonderful truths to teach us along the way. For the next

0:29.2

few moments, we turn our attention to the Word of God, the only roadmap for this journey. You'll find

Join us now as we study the scriptures together. It is our prayer that you will enjoy the journey. Someone once observed that today is the first day of the rest of your life.

1:08.9

Now that's a profound truth, isn't it?

1:12.7

I once heard someone say that yesterday is like a canceled check. Tomorrow is like a promissary note and today is legal tender. It's the only

1:19.0

thing that's negotiable. It's the only thing we have. With that thought in mind, I turn our

1:24.7

attention again today to Philippians chapter 1. We've been discussing three days

1:29.1

we must never forget. Now, the first day is obvious. It's the first day. It's the day you met the

1:35.6

Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. And the second day is the last day you're ever going to

1:42.5

live on this earth and the first day of eternity. It's called

1:45.2

in Philippians 1, verse 6, the day of Jesus Christ. But now we turn our attention to the third day. We

1:51.4

must never forget. It's sandwiched between the other two. Between the first day and the day of

1:56.9

Jesus Christ, we have a beautiful little word. Let me read these two verses and see if you

2:01.6

catch it. Philippians chapter 1, verse 5 says, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day

2:07.2

until now, being confident of this very thing that he which hath begun a good work in you will

2:13.2

perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Did you catch the word? It's that little word, that little

2:19.0

three-letter word, now. And friend, it's all you have. The third day you must never forget,

2:25.7

if you're going to make the most of this journey with the Lord Jesus, is today. Don't miss today.
