I am your servant in Jesus Christ and this is the program that dishes up a daily dose of biblical

discernment, the goal of which help you to think biblically, help you to think critically

and help you compare what people are saying in the name of God to the word of God, there is no

shortage of crazy things being set out there.

Now one of the techniques that people use when they mishandle God's word,

especially from the pulpit, is that they allegorize things and read themselves into the text.

We call it narcissistic Isiges Jesus there's a particular technique and you know it goes something like this

You know David walked onto the battlefield and there was Goliath and he picked up five smooth stones.

And with only a slingshot in five smooth stones, he was able to slay the giant Goliath. So what's the giant in your life that needs

slaying? Apply these five principles. They're like five smooth stones and when you do that, then you can

conquer the Galaits in your life. Yet we've all heard that sermon. I mean it's a standard mishandling of the text and the
