now is anything but normal and it's putting a strain on our bodies. Heat-related

emergency room visits are surging in New York.

In Maine, temperatures are running 20 degrees above normal.

There's been at least 38 record-breaking heat temperatures across the U.S. in just the last three

days.

And at the same time, there are fast-spreading

wildfires burning out of control in the western United States. A former FEMA

administrator puts it bluntly saying this extreme weather is quote
