I'm the producer, engineer Claude Jennings, and yeah,

we had the news late Tuesday night that former first lady Barbara Bush had passed

away at the age of 92 and Bill we know that you worked in the Bush cabin when the Bush

White House and the administration drugs are and that was out it was actually

cabinet level then cabinet level then and so no doubt that you had a lot of experience with

first lady barber bush to care to share any thoughts and memories?

I did, I did. I love the Bush's. Reagan was a greater president, but I love to tour

Trevor Walker Bush. As fine a gentleman as I've ever met, and still do love him.

Barbara Bush was an amazing woman.

A combination of warmth and gayness in the old sense a gay person a happy person a cheerful person

and it ferocious and fierce as the mother of five or six had to be she was all

school she was a woman of grace and dignity and bearing.

And a word we used to use class. This was a woman, a classy lady, and an awful lot of fun as well. I had a number of run-ins with her and I should call him run-ins because some of them were almost literally run-ins.

But the one thing I do remember, my wife's course indebted to her forever

because she mentions Elaine in her program in her book.

She mentions the best friends program.

But she stood on a stage in a downtown hotel in

her mid 60s shook the hand of everyone of 400 young inner city girls who

walked across the stage to get recognized in the program and it was three three

and a half hours and it was extraordinary Mrs. Meadell never forget it she was so
