New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 44 A powerful tool in the Woke Marxist toolbox is something called a "thought-terminating cliché." These are short, pithy statements, demands, or slogans that are designed to stifle thought in their targets as well as in those saying them. "Check your privilege!" is a good example. So is "Trans women are women!" or "Believe all women!" No doubt, you will have been on the receiving end of hundreds of examples of this kind of damaging non-speech over the last several years, and it's helpful to have a name for it. 0:53.4	And he has this concept he presents there called thought terminating cliches, you're very
0:57.5	familiar with many of these, check your privilege.
1:01.5	That's transphobic, trans women are women.
1:05.7	You're very familiar with some of these, you're very familiar with some of these, the name
1:09.3	of them tells you what they are.
1:11.7	They are slogans or cliches, things that you can just say, you don't even have to think
1:16.5	about them.
1:17.5	You hear a transphobia, you say trans women are women, that's transphobic, check your
1:21.8	privilege.
1:23.5	You immediately just blurred out one of these cliches, these things, that's racist.
1:29.8	Don't you think that's a little bit racist?
1:31.9	These kinds of things, right?
