Today, we're going to be talking about a biblical view of judging.

When is it right to judge others and when is it wrong?

Because I know some of y'all are judgmental and that's a judgment, but it might be your right one.

Anyway, in Matthew 7 in particular, verses 1 through 2, Jesus said this.

He said, Judge not that you be not judged for with the judgment you pronounce, you will be judged and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.

That's a tongue twister.

In 1 Corinthians 5, verse 12, Paul tells the Corinthians that they should be judging those inside the church.

How do we then understand the tension of these two verses?

Because Jesus said, hey, Judge not unless you be judged. That's the King James version that I grew up on.

And then Paul, he says, no, Judge, what do we do with that? Theologians?

I am not a very, like, practiced, tried and truth, theologian. I haven't been a seminary or anything like that.

I thought you'd do it. I didn't finish, yo.

But you've been. I've been. You win.
