The Michael Berry Show. Tucker Carlson's firing from Fox News continues to be the story that most listeners

contact me about to share their perspectives, their thoughts, their reaction.

And normally I would say, you know, media doing stories about media is kind of like how

filmmakers want to make films about making films and how musicians want to write songs about

being a musician. We don't care. Meet us where we are. We're not a musician or a filmmaker.

We're struggling to keep a marriage together or raise kids or deal with the loss of a loved one

or find a job or whatever else. I mean, take this job and shove it. That meant people were

where they were because everybody had that everybody was or knew somebody that was working

at a job site where the boss's son thought he was real cool and you wanted to punch him out

and you hate this job and you hate that you have to continue with this job. But you have to,

because you got nowhere else to go and you got to and you got to put up with crap because they

know you had to put up with crap. But let's talk about Tucker crossing for a moment because I think

people are interested and more importantly, because I think that the story is bigger than Tucker.

I think the story is a reflection of something even more important.

And I think that story is if we don't have a free and open, honest, legitimate media,

the consequences for your nation are terrible. And I want to explore that for a moment.

But before I do that, there are several people. They're all coming from the left, by the way,

who are claiming to explain what happened with Tucker Carlson because there is a vacuum of a

lack of knowledge. And in the absence of knowledge, it invites rumors. And if you're in the rumor

business and you're good at what you do, you don't say, hey, I pull this completely out of my bum.

I just made this up, but it seems possible. No, you say sources tell me that which sources,

sources, anonymous sources, well placed, high ranking bull. I don't believe you.
