We're ready to begin our next session.

And the format of this session is that we have three esteemed guests who will be members of our panel,

who will each speak for about five or ten minutes about the question of the legacy of the Yale School

and it's the future of contemporary, the contemporary state of theology and the future of theology

in light of the contribution

of the Yale School.

And so just to introduce them briefly, we have first, on my left over here, Fritz Bauer Schmidt,

who is professor of theology.

Fritz has recently come out with a book called Thomas Aquinas,

Faith, Reason, and Following Christ from Oxford University Press.

It's an extremely dense, thoughtful, and really profound portrayal of Aquinas' theology,

which is highly recommendable to everyone.

He has a book that's known to many of us who've taught undergraduates called Holy Teaching,

introducing the Summa Theologiae of St. Thomas Aquinas,

which is the best kind of book

to give someone who's uninitiated to Aquinas to kind of get an explanation of the vocabulary

and a way of reading Aquinas, et cetera, with his own translations. He's got a number of other
