My guest today is an 18 year old actress from New Zealand who has taken Hollywood by storm this year.

Breaking out at Sundance in the father-daughter drama Leave No Trace, which was co-written and directed by Deborah

Granick, who previously brought the world Jennifer Lawrence in 2010's Winter's Bone, and subsequently

getting cast in and shooting four other films, all of which are now in post-production.

Four leave no trace, which former President Barack Obama recently named as one of his favorite movies of 2018.

Mackenzie was nominated for the Best Breakthrough Actor Gotham Award, won the Best Breakthrough

Performance National Board of Review Award, will be honored with a Virtuoso Award by the Santa Barbara International Film Festival,

is nominated for the Best Young Actor or Actress Critics Choice Award and the Best

Supporting Actress Spirit Award, and is a serious contender for a best supporting actress Oscar nomination.
