Thomas, how you doing? Good, John. How you doing? I am doing great. Thomas, I've known

you for a long time. So this is a conversation between friends. You're someone I admire,

someone I love. You're someone I care about. You're someone who I have seen grow in so

many ways. And I want people to know what it was like to play for Bill Belichek and

Pete Carroll. But before we get there, before you share that, I've got to just ask you about

your new book dig that just came out. You wrote a new book. What's it about? And why did

you write it?

Yeah, man. Thank you so much, John. It's an honor to be on your podcast. Normally, we would

have these conversations when we take our walks in Los Angeles, but obviously we're doing

it now virtually. I'm here in Denver. You're there where you are. L.A. West Coast, man.

So I love the podcast and then also now being on the show. It's a real honor. One of the

things that I've really thought about over the past couple of years is that what's my story?

Not what's my story as Thomas Williams, where you're from, because I've written up a permission

to dream the relentless pursuit of greatness. But what's my story? Many years ago, you told

me that the reason why you write a story is for your kids to read it. And so now with

two kids of my own two little girls, I wanted them to understand dig. What's a value that

I could teach them? And now I'm sharing it with the world and it's dig. And so the

acumen is dive into greatness. You know, one of the things is that we do is sometimes

we tiptoe. We test greatness, but we have to dive into greatness. And it's almost like

the old adage in the saying when people say is that you're going to burn the boat. You

got to leave the boats and you got to dive in full steam ahead. And so for me, this book
