| 0:08.0 | Last week we had Dr. Sinclair Ferguson with us, and he introduced us to this wonderful box set of 10 volumes containing 15 classic works by the Puritans. |

| 1:49.0 | He's an alum of Emanuel College, Cambridge. |
| 1:52.0 | He was a pastor in London during his time as a pastor. |
| 1:57.0 | He was arrested for two years for non-conformity. |
| 2:01.0 | Then in 1662, he was one of many, a few thousand actually, who were kicked out of their pulpits as part of the great ejection. |
| 2:12.0 | These were Puritans all, and they were forced out of their pulpits of Anglican churches because of Elizabeth's act of uniformity. |
| 2:20.0 | Well, after he was ejected, Watson still managed to find churches and pulpits where he could preach. |
