Wow, a lot going on in the world today.

I say that way too much, but it seems it's just like this never-ending reality

show that Donald Trump keeps bringing us.

And now it's getting really strange.

I mean, in the area of religion.

And the Republicans have always had this bizarre relationship with

religion where they have used and and actually you know before the

1960s it was the Democrats who were doing the same thing.

You know, whichever party holds the mantle of being the racist party, although both of them

were fairly racist up until the last 40, 50 years here.

But the sales pitch that the Republican Party has made that they're the party of Jesus, right?

They're the party, the Christian Party.

They're the party of the guy who says that you know everybody who wants health care

should have it and it should be free. They're the party the guy who says that

anybody who's hungry we should feed them that if people are homeless we should we

should house them that if they're naked we should clothe them that if they're in

prison we should go visit them and I mean you know this is their guy right Jesus you know, this is their guy, right?

Jesus, you know, laying out these principles, but, you know, they're not doing what he's saying.
