There's a common phrase that says, "Never see God’s delays as God’s denials." Nearly every time I speak somewhere live, I'll meet people afterwards who tell me they had a dream but it just didn't work out saying, -- "it wasn't God's plan." They'll ask me how to know if a dream is from God or not. Well, if God put a dream in your heart, then He has every intention for it to come to pass. But you have to stop seeing God's delays as His denials. You have to persevere, persist, and keep going ...

0:13.0	But his dream didn't happen as fast as he hoped. In fact, by the time he was 22, he thought he'd made the worst decision and that no one would ever love his music he'd
0:22.3	been playing in piano bars old pubs and he was literally flat broke well he said he was even
0:28.3	sleeping in laundromats because he absolutely had no money for rent the only thing that kept him

1:02.0	Well, fortunately, even though he wrote the suicide note and everything, I mean, about to follow
1:07.6	through. Before he went through with it, he decided instead to check himself into a
1:13.0	mental institution. He said later that spending time there gave him an entirely different
1:18.4	perspective about his life. He said when he saw what other people were going through, he said,
1:23.6	I will never, ever get that low again. Well now he says it was one of the best things he
1:28.5	ever did because he's never been able to feel sorry for himself again no matter what is
1:32.8	happening in his life. He got his vision back out. He started imagining himself
1:38.1	succeeding and he started taking action. That young man is the legendary piano man Billy Joel. Isn't that amazing?
