philanthropist, just made the largest ever donation to the Girl Scouts

by a single donor. $84.5 million.

This gift is important because donations to organizations that help women and girls only account

for 2% of all charitable giving.

A new species of whale that's native to the U.S. Gulf of Mexico is already facing extinction.

The Rice's whale was recognized as a separate species in 2021, but drilling and oil exploration threatened their habitat.

Scientists have written to President Biden to give the

species protected status.

And we have an update on what's happening in the midterms. Polls showed that Republicans are
