North Carolina’s Diamond Heels opened 2025 with a sweep of visiting Texas Tech and in doing so, showcased the pitching staff that had been the talk of the fall and preseason. Jason DeCaro’s start, the return of Jake Knapp and Folger Boaz coupled with the debut of three high potential freshmen kept the Red Raiders in check at the plate while UNC’s ‘doubles’ offense got the wins on the scoreboard.
