Summary

Chris Chavez chats with Anderson Emerole, who is still in the Bahamas after covering the 2024 World Relays.

In this episode, they discuss:

WORLD RELAYS TAKEAWAYS

– 14 teams qualified for each of the five relay events at the Paris Olympics. We decide what we learned about the Olympic connection to World Relays and whether it's easy to understand.

– Team USA's women swept the relay titles in the 4x100m and 4x400m to go along with the mixed relay title.

– Ireland's Rhasidat Adeleke was maybe the meet's MVP with her 48.45 to lead Ireland to a bronze medal in the mixed 4x400m relay.

– Who is the ideal U.S. men's 4x100m relay squad for the Paris Olympics?

realays they just took place this weekend and in fact we've got Anderson

0:20.4

joining us from the Bahamas right now. I'm very jealous. It was a very rainy

0:26.4

weekend in New York City, but the vibes and the atmosphere at the national stadium in the Bahamas looked incredible on TV.

0:37.8

You could bet, you know, it's a good sign of things when you could barely hear the announcers

0:42.2

on the broadcast because of how much noise is being

0:44.9

produced by the fans.

0:46.7

So Anderson, was it as good as it looked like on TV?

0:50.5

It was better than it looked like on TV. I mean I for those who are listening I mean
