Well, at the beginning of every new year, the prophets come out. They feel compelled to make prophecies about the coming year.

Now, they're not stupid.

They have to hedge their bets because they know that they can't really predict anything

that God isn't really speaking through them, but they feel compelled to make these prophets

and claim that God is speaking through them. So they keep it in the vaguest of terms.

Kind of like anything that happens this year, God is still in control.

All the crises that you're going to face, it's not much of a prediction.

It's just more of a pep talk, perhaps.
