Hello Marvelites and welcome to a very special very different edition of

this week in Marvel. This is episode 53. We are recording on Friday, November 2nd.

You are probably noticing right away the sound quality is vastly different than

from what you're used to. That is because we are still recovering here in New York and New Jersey from Hurricane Sandy.

Blake is here in South Carolina.

Ryan is coming back from Australia and I am actually in my car in New Jersey. I'm unable to get into the city right now and I don't have power at my house.

I'm calling from my cell phone in my car which is why the quality is not great

but we have basically holding the entire site office and podcast together is

our social media coordinator Cherry Fialo who is actually in the office. I

Carrie. Hello how are you? I am to the end of my car recording a podcast for

you so how can how can it be better I don't have heat and I don't have power but but I

got a conversation with you that's going to get my afternoon. But in all sincerity, thank you very much to Carrie and everyone who's been able to make it in through this storm.

And of course, you know, everyone who's without power or whose houses are damaging and all that stuff all throughout the Northeast.

We are thinking of all you guys.

Hopefully we can bring a little joy into your life with this poorly constructed

crappy sound quality podcast which we hope to have up early next week

fingers crossed on that as I said Blake is still in South Carolina he was visiting home

and the planes couldn't come back.

We do have one of our interns in so he's going to try to work on it, but you guys will get this at some point.

I know Blake is still alive because he texted me a picture of a shirt that just said Yolo.

Yep, I got that too.

So he's definitely alive.
