Here's something I did not expect to be talking about this week.

New evidence.

A phone call between the president and his ambassador to the EU raised eyebrows.

I mean, I think it's really bad.

If you think what you see already is really bad, this is another piece of it that's really bad.

Which meant this week, Democrats and Republicans wanted to hear from Gordon Sondland.

I think that's really going to be a turning point.

For all this talk about, you know, secondhand, third hand, fourth hand witnesses, I mean, he is the closest thing to a first-hand

witness that they have.

All right, Jim Newell, Dahlia Lithwick, impeachment's over, right? Are we there yet?

It is amazingly enough, apparently over, at least in the Intel Committee.

I mean, the public phase of it, they're just going to write their report now and hand it off to the Judiciary Committee.

So it's a little hard to believe.

I was just getting into it.

Okay, before we go on, brief summary of where we're at, the House is in the middle of this

impeachment inquiry when I say middle, middle end.

Democrats are trying to prove that the president was urging Ukraine to investigate

his political rival, Joe Biden, and that he may have been withholding military aid to

make that happen.

So how many people testify this week?
