A leak is a very rare thing when it comes to the Supreme Court but it has been a week of rare things in America. One time Trump critic, JD Vance stormed to victory in Ohio with the help of Peter Thiel’s chequebook and an admission that he says stupid things in public. While the whole country remained glued to a celebrity car crash trial like no other, Democrats are counting on their base getting so angry about the possible overturning of abortion laws that they will get to the polls in November. Marion is not so sure. Can feelings of that kind can be sustained and harnessed for that long in a world of scrolling outrage that changes week to week?
