So let's start with your first day at Sports Center.

Yeah, I had left CNN and I didn't have an agent. I didn't know what I was doing in the business.

Right. But I knew ESPN was where I wanted to be. And I went to CNN. I did headline sports.

And then I was a reporter, actually replaced Keith Oberman in New York covering sports, Baltimore, Boston, Philly, New York, D.C. And my contract was running out. And I asked for

$60,000. I was making 50. And my boss, the legendary Bill McPhail, who started CBS Sports,
