And we have a very special guest with us today,

who you may well recognize from a series of viral TikTok videos.

We're here with Dr. Elizabeth Potter.

She is a board certified plastic surgeon based in Austin, Texas,

where she specializes in natural breast reconstruction and has performed over a thousand deep flap

surgeries. She's also the head of a non-profit called the Community Breast Reconstruction

Alliance, which lobbies to make sure that insurance

companies will cover breast reconstruction surgeries. Dr. Potter, thank you so much for joining

us on current affairs today. Thank you so much for having me. It's funny to hear someone say that

I might be known for my TikTok

videos. Like, as a microsurgeon, that's really not the way that I expect. I'm sorry. I felt as I

was saying it, that this was diminishing your work. The problem is that while your patients know you for life-changing surgeries,

the world now knows you for a series of excellent and very insightful TikTok videos.
