She got the prom coming up so she is going to get her hair done and

She went into the subway system and a homeless woman shoved her onto the subway tracks

She is barely

able to escape the oncoming train that of course

Would have killed her

She narrowly escapes. She's an 18-year-old girl named Sarah Aureus and

The alleged attacker is 26-year-old Shemika Wise

Was shoved off the platform at the 75th Street Elberts Lane JZ station in Woodhaven Monday about 10 30 in the morning

By a woman who had been arguing with a man in the above ground station

Aureus tells the New York Post it didn't feel real. I was flying through the area. It just felt fake

The high school senior had been hurrying to get her hair done the morning of the prom when she encountered the alleged attacker 26-year-old Shemika Wise

Shemika had been arguing with a man and when Aureus passed them she says she was pushed onto the tracks just as the train was pulling into the station

Aureus said no one assisted her as the train came into the station adding that other passengers even backed away

As she quickly pulled herself out of harm's way that didn't try to help

She says I have scrapes and bruises on my knees. I was so scared. I was crying hysterically

Shemika was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and assault

Not attempted murder
