Close to Barker Cyprus when it hit. She was hysterical, but made it off an inside pluckers

She ran in with no shoes and left her hazards on.

Everyone inside hung out in the kitchen until it passed.

A sweet family watched over her and even gave her some mama hugs. She was

shaken from adrenaline and they were offering her their jackets. A big thank you to

that family from this mama. My other daughter and I were huddled in our bathroom

Well, good morning.

Hysterical is the exact word.

You know, as a reporter, I have driven through hurricanes in Louisiana.

I have covered serial killers.

This was the first, this is the first time ever in my life to experience something like this.

I drove through that.

I drove through that tornado.

I felt my truck lifted up off the ground

there's no way anyone in an electrical vehicle or a small car could have made it

I don't know how they did, grace of God if they did.

You know, it's at times like this that happened more than we realize that you stop and think about things like that.

So if the power is out for somebody for several days. The chargers are down. What do you do with your
