Okay, yeah.

Well, I'll never forget the first time I stood in front of a group, 18 years old.

My hands were trembling so badly that I could barely grip my notes.

My throat was dry.

My mind completely blank.

And in that instance, I knew my entire future, every dream, every dollar I hope to earn, every ounce of credibility I wanted to build,

came down to this one terrifying thing,

convincing strangers to believe in me. And here's a terrible part. I didn't even believe in myself yet.

Picture it if you can. I'm in a cramped office bathroom in Pleasanton, California, staring into the

mirror, rehearsing the same opening line for the hundredth time. My voice cracks every time I hit the word opportunity.

My palms are sweating so badly that I could barely keep the paper from sliding out of my hands.

This wasn't a keynote at a global conference.

This wasn't a broadcast to millions.

It was seven people.

Seven.

Sitting on folding chairs waiting for me to prove this wasn't just

some side hustling, selling water filters. But in my head, I tell you, it felt like life or death.
