So this is Kevin Baraklough in Store Market in Suffolk.

Tell us about your main hobby, please, Kevin.

Morning, Vernon, yes.

At the moment, my main hobby is beekeeping.

I've got a couple of hives of my own,

and I'm heavily involved with the local association looking after their bees and we are now in the middle of swarm season so it's very, very busy at the moment.

Right, okay, so swarm season, people are going to stereotype and they're going to think that they see a dark cloud of bees coming nowhere.

What is swarm season?

Swarm season is a natural thing this time of year, so it's end of April to beginning of June,

where for various reasons, the hive will split and half of the swarm will then go and try and find

a new home. So they're not interested in people. They shouldn't be afraid of them, but just stay out of

their way is a good idea and give a beekeeper a call once it settles and we'll come and sort it

out for it. Yeah, lovely stuff. I think this is factually correct, but I do believe that a jar of

honey was laid next to a mummified Egyptian in a tomb and it was still runny.
