to preach to the church as a leather, lung, high blood pressure,

gravy, sopping, biscuit eating, Baptist preacher.

When the world in its wisdom knew not God,

had pleased God, through the foolishest of preaching,

not foolish preaching, but through the foolishest of preaching

to save them that would believe,

God's chosen preachers.

Ah, yes, you just watched a clip from Tony Hudson, one of the premier speakers at the 41st annual

National Pastors and Workers Conference hosted by North Valley Baptist Church

and pastor Jack Treber. The conference was just a lot of what the kids these days call

reheated nachos. Greatest hits of sermon soundbites you've heard echoed through the decades

said over and over and over again. You know, classics like rock music is stealing the youth.

You're naive if you think you young people aren't attracted to that.

America's in trouble. Mr. Mundami or whatever his name is in New York City.

Largest city in America, he hates God. God can still save America. God can still save America.

And of course there's the old preachers were way better

than everyone else and just did it for love of the game. There was a generation that did not look

forward to all of the blessings of the ministry being now. There were many that never enjoyed a

blessing on earth and their blessings were not until they got to heaven but that was enough for

that generation and that crowd to keep on keeping on and there's my absolute favorite the classic

you love it a bunch of pastors you know have done crazy stuff that disqualified them from ministry wink
