Nehemiah chapter 13. This is going to be the shortest verse that we've ever opened up with ever.

This is the life of Nehemiah. This is the end of his

victorious, great, illustrious career. He's ending this book and ending his courageous life.

And watch what he says to God. The great leader Nehemiah says to God, remember me, oh God, for good.

Now, Nehemiah actually praised this prayer multiple times in this last chapter.

And he keeps saying, God, remember me, remember me.

May I be remembered?

May I go down as someone that did good on the earth?

That was a good parent and a good friend.

That was good with my business and good with my life and good with my finances.

How many of you want to be remembered for good and not for evil?

He's saying, God, I did my best.

I laid it all out there.

I did everything I could. God, I know it wasn't perfect.

I know I blundered and rooted for the Yankees sometimes, but God, will you remember me for good?
