As we start, let's take a deep, calming breath and thank yourself for setting aside these moments to connect with Jesus.

Have you ever found yourself struggling to know what to put your hope in?

Maybe you're young and idealistic and you're looking for the place where you can place your hope that it won't be disappointed.

Where do we put our hope?

As followers of Jesus, we have determined and decided that we are placing our hope in the resurrection of Jesus.

Romans 6 chapter 4 goes on to describe that when we were baptized, when we went down in water

and came back up, that signifies that you and me have decided that we have died alongside

Jesus. We have been buried with Him. And the Bible says we have been co-res resurrected with Jesus

so that from now on we could be empowered to walk in the freshness of a new life.

Let me say that again because we died and were buried with Jesus. Now we are co-res resurrected alongside of Him so that we can be empowered to walk in the freshness of a new life.
