And welcome back to the Gin Z Girl podcast. Hope you're having an amazing day whenever you're listening to this or an amazing start to your day. If your day is just getting started, I'm always curious to know like who listens like pretty much right when the podcast drops at like 5 a.m. on Mondays. I mean, I'm sure not that many people listen right at 5 a.m. Central time, because that's pretty much 6 a.m.

0:22.2

at the latest, I guess, for the U.S. But anyways, today's episode I'm really excited for in the

0:29.5

beginning. I want to recap how this past week went with my like 21 day challenge that I talked

0:35.8

about in last week's episode, which you should totally go listen

0:38.0

to if you have already where I talked about getting out of a rut and just trying like four or

0:42.9

five habits that I really care about implementing into my lifestyle in all seasons of life

0:48.0

so that I can just thrive in all seasons of life with those habits instead of just completely

0:53.3

shutting off,

0:59.4

especially when getting out of a rut. So I want to recap that. And then I'm just going to kind of get into talking about something that I just think needs to be said that's really inherent in our

1:04.3

generation overall, just like with our mindset. And it's something that I think is really toxic.

1:12.5

And it's something that I've found myself struggling with a lot lately and having a hard time accepting and it's basically

1:18.2

just talking about our generation's problem with instant gratification in a way but not necessarily

1:26.0

like just that and it's not what you're thinking when I say instant gratification I don't mean but not necessarily like just that. And it's not what you're thinking.

1:28.3

When I say instant gratification, I don't mean like, oh my gosh, we're so impatient and we need what we want

1:34.0

exactly when we want it. I mean yes to an extent. I mean that, but not in the materialistic way that

1:38.8

you probably think when I say that. And yeah, so let's just go ahead and get started with the episode first off i want to plug the gen z

1:45.4

girl podcast facebook group which if you are not a part of go search the gen z girl podcast on

1:51.7

facebook and you will find a little group and you can answer three short sweet simple questions and i will let

1:58.3

you in as long as you answer them correctly. It's literally just asking

2:03.1

for my name, which is Abby, if you missed me saying that. And then just if you have any

2:08.4

recommendations, if not, you don't have to put anything. And then if you'll abide by the group

2:12.2

rules. So super simple, great little community and also follow follow the Genzy Girl podcast on Instagram.
