I'm Lily Percy, the host of the new movie podcast from On Being Studios,

this movie changed me.

Movies have defined and shaped my life.

They're where I go to to ask the big questions about who I am and how I see the world.

And I know I'm not alone in this.

Star Wars, The Night War Before Christmas, Eternal Suncheon of the Spotless Mind,

Toy Story, The Big Lebowski, You've Got Mail.

All of these movies have changed people's lives.

The first time you see it, it is just pure, simple joy.

On TV, everything was kind of perfect.

Yeah.

And in these movies, things were not perfect.

And for me, that just, it was so familiar.

I think the thing that it really taught me was that the person that we think we want to fall in love with

is often the very opposite of the person who we should really fall in love with.

One of the ways we came together was me on a rooftop narrating pretty much the entire film

to my yet-to-be girlfriend.

And I'd like to think that was one of the reasons why she felt for me.

It's a really amazing movie to girls to say what they should expect from boys.

I don't think I'll ever stop watching it, to be quite honest.

I watch it with a pint of Hagen does ice cream.

You just can't not have fun on this adventure.
