0:08.6	It is August 1st. I am Chris, so let's take a look at what happened this month in Universal Orlando history.
0:14.2	On August 1st, 2019, Universal officially announced that they would be building their third theme park, Epic Universe,
0:21.6	on the recently purchased land near the Orange County Convention Center.
0:25.6	Technically fourth, if we think about Volcano Bay, because they call that a theme park.
0:30.6	But who's counting?
0:31.6	Now, August 2nd, 2013 saw Phase 2 of Universal Studios Florida's Springfield expansion open and this included Lardland Donuts, Duff Gardens, and Bumblebee Man's Taco Truck.
0:46.3	Nine days later, another Springfield edition opened as Kang and Koto's Twirl and Hull began operation.
0:52.3	A new hotel next, as on August 16, 2018, the Lowe's Aventura Hotel opened.
0:59.0	Now next is a closure as Lucy, a tribute shuttered its doors on August 17, 2015. Love that place. It was cool. I was a big Nick and Night fan. And a day and four years earlier, Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast closed for good on August 18th, 2011, to make way for Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.
1:22.2	And wrapping up August back in August 19th, 2009, the Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket roller coaster opened and, you know,
