You know, January is the month where lots of folks have health goals

on the brain, and it would appear that major snack conglomerates do too. Mars, Inc. may not be known for its

healthy options, looking at you, M&M's, but as of late, the company seems to be leaning into the

health kick that's taken over the snack industry in the past several years. Just last month,

Mars acquired Truefrew, a whole food snacking brand for an undisclosed sum. Truefrew pedals primarily in

fruits, frozen or freeze-dried, then dipped in chocolate. Truefrew co-founder and CEO Brian Neville

raved about Truefrew's new parent company in a statement.
