0:14.8	devoting ourselves to the Lord. They'll eat with you. Good morning, you guys. Good morning,
0:18.5	indeed. We're picking back up with new morning mercies, so without further ado,
0:21.2	Tori is going to take it from here. Yes, yeah, let's do it. Today's
0:23.9	situational says this, if your God's child, you are blessed with the convicting ministry of
0:29.9	the Holy Spirit. The question is, are you listening? It is possible to be a believer in the Lord
0:36.6	Jesus Christ, saved by His blood, and still have a hard heart. So the warning of Hebrews 3, 12 through
0:45.2	13 is much needed by all of us. Take care, brothers, less there be in any of you an evil,
0:52.8	unbelieving heart, leading you to follow away from the living God. But exhort one another
0:59.2	every day, as long as it is called today, that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness
1:05.5	of sin. It is tempting to not listen to the protective promptings of the Holy Spirit,
1:12.3	because you think you have a more accurate view of yourself than you ever really have.
1:19.3	Since sin is deceitful, and since sin still remains in us all, there are places in our lives where
1:25.8	we are deceived into thinking that we are better off spiritually than we actually are. It is
1:31.2	tempting to resist the convicting ministry of the Holy Spirit, because few of us actually believe
1:37.6	that we need the sight-giving ministry of others in our lives. Oh, man. Shots fired. Because we do not
1:46.1	believe this, we have not opened ourselves up to the gospel community that is one of the primary
1:52.7	tools of conviction that the Holy Spirit employs. It is tempting to harden your heart against the
1:58.3	ministry conviction of the Holy Spirit by arguing for your righteousness when a sin, weakness,
2:04.5	or failure is revealed. It is tempting to refuse to listen to the convicting voice of the Spirit
2:10.7	by comparing yourself to other believers and arguing that you are surely more righteous than
2:16.0	they are. It is tempting to resist the personal insight-giving ministry of the Holy Spirit by
