So when Paul was on board a ship as a prisoner going to Rome, it would be very easy for him to become like a lot of nervous conservatives.

The government, the government, the government.

Government saved Paul's neck.

That Centurion, when everyone on board that ship, when that ship broke up in Malta,

got to know your Bible to know my story now, when Paul was on his way to Rome to appear before Caesar,

they had a shipwreck.

And in the shipwreck, the Romans on the ship decided they would kill all the prisoners

because the Roman rule was, if you let a prisoner escape, you gave your life for the

prisoner.

And so since they were about to release all the prisoners, every man for himself to go swim

to shore, they had real suspicions that some of those prisoners on their way to Rome might take a

run for it and going, they didn't know where they landed. Maybe they're going to take off here and run

away and we'll never find them again. So kill them all, because we know what Rome will do if one of them

gets away. We'll all be killed.

The centurion, to save Paul's life, said, don't touch them.

There's a case where government was the protection of the apostle.

Then when Paul lands on that island of Malta, which is a metaphor for economic reset, collapse of systems.

What will God do with wealth builders during that? He will maneuver you to Malta. What is Malta? That's the territory that emerges out of the chaos. On the island of Malta, Paul's picking

up sticks a viper attached to him, he shakes

the viper off into the fire.
