Well, today let's play a game. How many times have you played the game where they say,

what's wrong with this picture? And then they show you a picture and you've got to figure out

something that doesn't fit, something that doesn't belong, something that doesn't make even

common sense. And for those of you who are listening to this podcast, instead of watching it,

I'm going to paint a word picture, so don't worry.

I'm going to do my best to describe the video I'm about to play.

Now, this was shot last Friday, May 1st. A yellow school bus at the curb. Front door is open.

A few students walk off. They look high school age, maybe middle school. You can spot a few

teachers. You can count about a dozen other students on the curb who seemingly got off the bus first.

If you look closely, you can make out a Chicago police car. Looks like a normal school day,

right, in the country's third largest city. So what is

wrong with this picture? Well, let me give you a little help there. For starters, there's no

school building. All these students are cutting class and they're doing it with the blessing of the

Chicago public schools and the Teachers Union.

There certainly are a number of students here and classes are not out yet.

The reason? So they can be pawns in a progressive political rally under the guise of a

May Day March. These aren't my words.

Political pawns is how a lawyer representing angry Chicago public schools' parents

described the situation.

He took their argument to the teacher's union about a week before the march.

I think what everyone is here is they want their children to learn.

They don't want to be used as political pawns in somebody else's political statements.
