That always makes me laugh because you can go back and watch me on video shouting and screaming. Oh my gosh. At WrestleMania 41, the main event is quite clearly going to be the Rock versus Cody Rhodes. And it's going to be about that we talk about for years and years to come. And here I am now looking like an idiot. The good news being I always look like an idiot. This is just idiot times two. I'm good with this.

Now of course this secret package is what I thought was going to fuel us forward.

And we had the main event from night one of WrestleMania 40 when it was the rock that pinned Cody Rhodes.

And by that point, if you went through the amount of times Cody had been, well, put to the map for the one, two, three. It was only by a limited amount of people, so I presume, well, that's another thing we're

going to do here. And I do think this was on the docket at some point, before like a loan in wrestling, it kind of just floated away. Now, of course, we jump forward to WrestleMania 41. Instead, we got Cody Rhodes versus a heel, John Cena. and I'm amazed that WWE never tried to tie these two things in.

You could have gone, oh, Cody Rhodes has read this piece of paper, and it said, your hero is going to screw you, and Cody would have thought the Rock was referring to himself, because one, the Rock loves to talk in third person, but also two, Cody had come out many a time and said he does look up to the Rock. when it turned out that was a double ruse,

and that's why John Sina joined the Rock to begin with

after the cut throw at the elimination chamber, because John Sina has always been Cudley Rhodes' real hero, and that's how you get to the map. And that's way too convoluted. And there's a lot of problems there, but I tell you what, it's better than nothing. It also meant we would have played the long game here, which apparently is everybody's favorite thing in WWE. And let's not forget what did happen a

couple of weeks before that Elimination Chamber show. All of a sudden, it was announced that The Rock is coming back. When he walked to the ring and he found Cody, he said, yo, bro, I think you should give me your soul. Now, it is important to look at the timeline there, because the first one happens in April with 2024, and the second one happens in February 2025. So even though there's a giant gap in the middle, I always thought that we would try and tie thread between these two things unless I miss something, which again is perfectly viable because I am a moron. And I think WWE ever tried to do that. And when he did come back in 2025, everything the Rock was doing felt very kind of random. And yes, we could talk about the fact that Travis Scott was at WrestleMania 40, one of The Rock wasn't, but that kind of feels like a different video for a different day. But I just think the WW missed a trick by not allowing the Rock to at least do one promo where he said, me and John, I've been talking about this for ages, or this is what I was always planning. You should check whatever it is that I did hand to you. And they could have come up with a million or one things. I just think when you do do that, even if the river is a little bit pants, I'm repeating myself now. But it's better than not talking about it at all, because that means we are led to make videos like this. And I also think sometimes it kind of insults the intelligence of the fans. Now, you can't do a deep dive onto this on the internet, and there are many fan theories out there, and some does tie into WWTV. The first of which is what happened before WrestleMania 40, when Nick Kahn, the Rock, Triple H, and other executives had found the watch that Dusty Rhodes had sold years and years ago and he used the money of that

to put Cody through college or something to that effect. So maybe now this was the rock handing that

watch back to Cody, which of course doesn't make any sense because they'd already gifted that to

Cody before WrestleMania. And also this is taking reality in the fictional what of sports

entertainment and just kind of scrambling them up a little bit too much because you need to know a lot about what's going on behind the scenes and you also need to know that somehow the rock in the story went and stole back a watch they'd already given to Cody. Harts my brain. It's also kind of the same with Fan 3 number 2, which is that, and this is a very real story as well. Cody Rhodes had gifted his own Rolex watches to the Rock and Seth Rollins before their big match. So maybe now this was the Rock handing that watch back as if to say, you tried to win me over with your love, but I'm not buying it. But once again, that begs the question why they did have a big old feud going into WrestleMania 40. I mean, the Rock beat his ass outside in the rain, which is one of the best

things we've done on modern television, especially when it comes to Raw. So once again, you're being asked to sort of ignore a lot there, and you can't do that because most wrestling fans like myself are mega nerds, and we keep everything locked in here. Another one of these theories is my personal fan favorite, because it's totally unhinged. Just before WrestleMania 40,

Cody Rhodes' personal tour bus got set on fire. Again, that happened in the real world. So some

people were like, maybe the Rockland is a lighter to Cody to tell him, I burnt down your bus. Now,

this was never acknowledged in terms of stories when we were watching Raw. But that would also

mean Cody figured this out because why else would Dwayne Johnson pass something like this to him? And maybe his child was in there, maybe his wife was in there. That's their home when they are on the road. And rather than do anything about it or tell the cops, he just went to him. Because you know, around about six to eight months' time, we then have to reveal this as part of the story. I just think that's way too much. And also, if the Rock is all of a silent arsonist, we'd probably need more than a little bit of a WrestleMania feud. I mean, you can even say it was a request for Cody Rhodes' soul, which he was then going to pay off come February. And once again, I just find it mad that WW never tried to connect those dots, because even if you did come up with something lame, I think people would have preferred it than just not talking about it at all. Instead, they did feel very separate when all of a sudden the rock cut his throat at the elimination chamber, causing John Cena to turn heel. And yes, we all know what happened after this fact. But ultimately, we do know what happened there. Dwayne Johnson got off in a bunch of badass movie roles that he wanted to try and commit to, one of which was with Martin Scorsese. And I understand, of course, we wanted to see the Rocket WrestleMania. But I think if we're honest with ourselves, if any of us were offered those two, we would probably go, absolutely, and we'd run there. I don't think too many people get the opportunity to work with Martin Sc Scorsese. It is a mystery-like evolution though, because we are talking about new W.W.E. What I mean by that is when you go back to old WWE or the one of the Vince McMahon, creative would change all of the time, mostly because even hours before Raw, Vince would get the script to rip it up because he wanted to do something different. Of course, that made it very obvious on screen. Everything his Triple H took over it always felt like he was going to take his time, and if it had an end point, we're going to stick to that end point, and yet when we inserted the Rock and Cody Rhodes and everybody else, it did feel a little bit disjointed, that could be, because when it does come to these megastars, there are too many cooks in the kitchen or of course when the rock does roll into town, he's going to be caught in his own shots. I think that's why if you were going to hazard a guess, it probably does have something to do with one of those watches, likely the second one that the rock did receive from Cody Rhodes.
