Hayden, let's put this into context of where this sits among quarterbacks. I believe it is basically neck and neck with the deal

that Baker Mayfield signed last all season when you adjust for, let's say, NFL salary cap inflation.

It's like literally almost exactly the same. The guaranteed money and the total $110 million,

Baker signed for $100,000, $50 million guaranteed. Now we're at $55 million, so 10% increase in the salary cap.

And that's exactly what Sam Darnold does. It's also interesting to me comparing it to the

contract that the Seahawks reportedly offered, Gino Smith, which was in the $40 to $45 million. I'm guessing that's a two or three year contract offer as well.

So they're paying Sam Darnold slightly less and what they were willing to pay
