But the reason why they did that is because the Jets chose Gino Smith by the trade. And if Gino Smith was a free agent, he probably could have signed elsewhere, maybe to the Vikings or somebody else. So this was very much so the Jets wanted Gino Smith. And the best way that you can do that is to trade for him. It seems like Gino Smith wants the Jets as well, which is shocking to me. I mean, maybe one of the most improbable reunions in NFL history, just for all
