Now, this was my first time analyzing midterm elections and I learned quite a bit. Most importantly,

I learned why we lost. Put quite simply, Republicans are the losing party. Marjorie Taylor Green

recently said that politics are a blood sport and to be quite honest, she's right. Now,

typically in a sport you draft the best players in the league, understand your opponent's weaknesses,

learn how to properly play the game as a team work together for that big win,

but most importantly, you suspend the players that just aren't cutting it.

Now, unfortunately, the Republican Party has not learned these basic lessons,

which is probably what prompted this tweet from Matt Gates,

calling out GOP leadership as

McFaliers. He's referring to Kevin McCarthy, Rona McDaniel, and of course Mitch McConnell as

Mick failures. Now we'll get to them in a second, but let's take Tom Emmer as the latest

example of how the GOP absolutely loves to lose. Now, Greg Price did a great job of basically

highlighting that Tom Emmer was the chair of the NRCC, this election cycle. It was basically

the guy who was in charge of electing Republicans to Congress once saying that we could win by

up to 70 seats. But of course, that red wave turned into a red trickle.

Now, Price has talked to a lot of people who work on the Hill who have told him that Tom

Emmer was more focused in the last few months on running for whip than electing Republicans to

Congress. If there's one man responsible for the lack of a red wave, it was him. Now, we fast forward to today in the House GOP conference,

just elected, yes, Tom Emmer as their nominee for Whip. And let's take a peek at this man's track record.

First off, he once served as a paid spokesperson for a Soros-funded organization seeking to get rid of the
