Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we devote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning, you guys. We are back. Tories back. I'm back.

And we're also back in the Thrive Bible. Yay. You ready to hop in? I sure am. Y'all today's

devotional is titled Driven by God's Love and the scripture is Hosea 6 verse 6 and it says,

I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know me more than I want burnt

offerings. The love letter from God says, beloved child, I want to spend more time with you. I see how

hard you try to live for me and I want to take the pressure off of you. It isn't what you do in

your own effort. It's what I do through you. I love you no matter what. Surrender your heart to

me so that I can give you a life full of the love you crave. If you seek me, you will hear my voice.

If you look to me more than you look to others, you will begin to live driven by my love instead of

by your strength. You will love with a heart like mine. Love your heavenly Father. The reflection

says, we often try to do religious things to get closer to God, but God is clear and scripture

that it is not religious activities that connect our hearts to His. Our love is shown by our

desire to please Him and live for Him alone. If you're tired of trying to prove your love for God

by religious activities, then stop and just give your heart to God. The treasure of truth says,

it isn't just what we do. It's how we love. Yes, the name into that. I love how it's all about

the heart posture. I don't know the exact scripture reference, but there's a scripture that my

buddy James would always talk to me about. It was how basically God had told his people to go into

this city and take it over, but he said, do this specifically. Then they did a lot of extras.

The reasoning or justification for doing all the extracurriculars was that, we wanted to sacrifice

this for you. God's like, I don't desire your sacrifice. I desire your obedience. For us, I think

that we try to tack on a lot. It's like the chair on the top mentality. I know for me personally,
