What's up guys welcome to the Joey Saladino show. So today we're going to be talking about why the why why there hasn't been a red wave or is there been a red wave.

We're just going to break down basically what you need to know about what happened in this election and to make a long story short it's good.

It there's some incredibly good and some incredibly bad and I think we need to home in and touch in in the bed stuff so we can work on fixing it.

Now before we get into this obviously send this podcast to a friend rate five stars is only way I'll get viewership I'm not promoting this anywhere else.

So if you want to get the good word out there that's how you can do it. But in summary what we have seen is one Beto or or or receive the less votes this election then he did in his last election where he failed.

That's a positive what we also saw is DeSantis who originally won his election I believe in 2018 by pretty razor thin margins now has won by over 20%.

Very similar I guess to Marco Rubio who won by even smaller margins but it seems like Florida is deep deep red it's actually deeper more deep red than California and New York is deep blue.

Going over in New York the Republican governor made some very good headway I believe it was Cuomo.

One against the Republican challenger that received like 38 or 39% of the vote.

This election the Republican challenger got in the high 40s I think was like 45 47 48 somewhere around there so it was still a pretty close race.

That's some good positive takeaways that we can take away from the also Nevada flipped red when it came to the governor and I believe there might have been some other states that had some I think Texas might have became a little bit more red.

Don't really remember the data on that but it wasn't like complete blowout status like Florida.

So what we're seeing is at least when it comes to the governor elections we're seeing a large shift in more Republican voters which is a very good thing.

But where we're seeing things go wrong is in the Senate elections that's where we will see somehow miraculously we'll see a Republican governor get elected by a blowout.

But then the Republican senator gets blown out by the Democrat it doesn't quite make complete in total sense and I think I know why.

The left has been rambling around and promoting the fact that Gen Z has saved democracy because Gen Z voted overwhelmingly for the Democrats.

Now if you don't know what age bracket Gen Z is it's 18 to 29.

Now that 1829 bracket that voted blue apparently completely wiped out the over age of 65 voting block that voted Republican completely canceled out their votes.

These sets would be in reported now the Democrats are taking this as a win obviously granted them some victory so obviously they're going to take it as a win.

But the fact that you are relying on kids people who have no stake in the economy people with no real world experience people who are unemployed have no wife have no kids contribute very little probably still live at home.

The fact that that is your voting base is just proof enough that you're on the wrong side of the political aisle.

I'm going to read some of these posts so David hog tweeted out Gen Z and young millennials under 30 voted in such a high levels and skewed the Democrats so much we canceled out every voter over the age of 65 across the US House races.
