Mark chapter two. This is Jesus. He's in Copernium. Cap, you know, what it is. There's a lot going on.

And I love this story. It's about some four crazy friends. And they just, they just kind of, you know,

they get some faith, they get some passion, and some crazy things

happen. So let's read it. We'll pick it up in verse number two. They gathered in such large

numbers that there was no room left, not even outside the door. And he, Jesus, preached the

word to them. Some men came bringing to him a paralyzed man. These are the four

crazy friends. Remember them. Bringing a paralyzed man carried by four of them. Since they could not get

him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it

and then lowered the mat the man was lying on.

When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, son, your sins are forgiven.

It doesn't end there. Drama. Now some of the teachers of the law were sitting there thinking

themselves, why does this fellow talk like that? He's blasphemy. Who can forgive sins but God alone? And immediately

Jesus knew in his spirit that this is what they were thinking in their hearts. And he said to

them, why are you thinking these things? Which is easier to say that this paralyzed man, to this paralyzed

man near sins are forgiven or to say, get up, take your mat and walk. But I want you to know that the son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins.

So he said to the man, I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.

He got up, he took his mat, and he walked out in full view of them all.

This amazed everyone, and they praised praise God saying we have never seen

anything like this. Come on let's pray and then we'll get into it. God we love you so much.

We're thankful Lord that you're passionate about people, that you're passionate about us God.
