So when me and my wife, Julie, we're planning our wedding some eight years ago, or so

when we started planning it, it's different how long it would matter. That's a hard

question now. So sometime ago, we were planning our wedding and one of my responsibilities was to

plan and to book the honeymoon. Just to be clear, I did. She helped me a little bit, but I did that.

But I want you to imagine with me a situation that is hypothetical, what I'm about to share with you

did not happen. But I want you to imagine that this is how that did actually go. I want you to imagine

my wife, Julie, came to me and said, hey, Sam, I need you to plan and book the honeymoon.

And imagine she comes to me a week later and she's like, hey, did you do it? And I'm like,

did I, did I do it? No, I didn't, I didn't do it. But Bay, let me tell you what I did do.

I wrote down exactly what you told me to do. I studied it. I highlighted the key words and the phrase.

I circled the verbs. I studied exactly what you told me to do. And she's like, hey, cool.

I need you to plan and book the honeymoon. Imagine she comes back a week later. Hey, Sam,

would you do it? And I'm like, did I do it? No, but Bay, I put on a note card and put it on the

dash in front of my speedometer. I couldn't even see how fast I was going, but that's how important what

you said was to me, you know, and I put it on my mirror. So every time I'm brushing my teeth,
