0:29.4	The scripture is Hebrews chapter four, verse 12, and it says this, for the word of God

0:37.9	It is sharper than the sharpest, two-edged sword cutting between soul and spirit, between
0:43.8	joint and marrow.
0:46.0	It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
0:50.7	Today's devotional is on the sword of the spirit, and it says this, did you know that
0:56.1	the Roman soldier carried two swords?
0:59.3	Most people mistakenly assume the sword Paul is referring to had a blade measuring of
1:04.6	24 to 33 inches long.
1:07.8	But the sword Paul was actually pairing the sort of the spirit to was a double-edged dagger
1:15.2	measuring seven to 18 inches long.
1:18.9	This dagger was designed for close combat because it could be drawn quickly, taking its
1:24.6	opponent by surprise.
1:27.4	God's word is an offensive weapon that requires his warriors to know the word in order to
