You know what you need? Well, yeah, what's it? You need 18 gigs of RAM on your smartphone.

Guy like you. Sure. I'll take it. You don't sound convinced. Yeah. Yeah. That's quite a

lot. Listen, what am I doing here? Listen, you're playing games, obviously. Here's a thing. I mean,

certainly with a RAM count like that is obvious that it's a spec contest that's going on.

If you want to call yourself the supreme, super phone thing, you've got to win in this

variety of categories, which happens to include RAM. Sure. And that's where this device comes in.

The ROG Phone 5 to pack a whopping 18 gigabytes of LPDDR5 RAM.

This is maybe this is more than you have in laptops. It's more than many people have in their

desktops. And it's 18. And it's 18. It's two more than like a regular, which is two more than

16. Yeah. Yeah. That's true. It's a great observation. The 18 gigabyte LPDDR5 mobile DRAM

module comes from SK Heinix semiconductor based out of South Korea. And they said that this chip

runs at a maximum of 6400 megabits per second, which is around 20% faster than previous LPDDR5 RAM.

It's got to be fast RAM through it can't be any RAM. It's got to be fast RAM. And certainly with

these ROG phones, they have been targeting the champion status as far as I mean mostly targeting

gamers, right? Sure. The the gamer crowd has emerged as this opportunity for smartphone makers

to go after some crazy spec sheets because in certain circumstances, that's pretty much the only

crowd who can really take advantage of it. Some other specifications on this device, Snapdragon

Triple 8, that's a must. Pretty much I mean, what other chip can you possibly have to pair with

that much memory? High refresh. Oh, that display. No specs on how high refresh though. We've had

these previous ROG phones up at some crazy numbers. 144 hertz type of thing. Many mobile games not

even supporting such a thing. But you know, there are segments. There are places where competitive

gaming on mobile is a real thing. I remember having visited. I was in Taiwan.
