Hello everybody and welcome to our very first episode of Middle Ground.

I'm Jo.

And I'm Caroline.

And we are just so excited to be here.

It seems like we've been talking about this for I don't know a long time and yeah

we're learning that we laugh too hard to record an intro and we can not get it together

but we are trying yeah for you guys we will get it together yes do you want to go first

or do you want me to uh you can do have the honor. You can do the honor.

All right. Joe, I'm 27 years old. I grew up in Missouri and then ended up in Northwest Arkansas

for college. Post college, I entered into small business world becoming a wedding photographer.

It's been about four years since I went full time and doing that and in that time I've been fortunate enough to photograph nearly 200

weddings and almost well actually exactly 100 with Caroline which is pretty wild and I am married

to my wonderful husband Matt and I don't exclusively do wedding photography

anymore. I have moved into doing business education with young entrepreneurs as well as

content creation for brands and Instagram. And my newest venture is TikTok. We love TikTok.

She's kind of a big deal, so look her up.

And now I'm turning red. I'm not a big deal. I'm literally the smallest of deals.

No, she is. So Caroline, tell us about you. Hi, everyone. I'm Caroline. I'm originally from Northwest Arkansas. I'm 20 years old, and after high school, I decided to not take the college

route, and I decided instead to take a gap year and live in Italy. I don't consider it a gap year

because it wasn't a gap between anything other than her in adulthood, but it's fine. It was a kind of fake

gap year because I knew all along that I probably wasn't going to go the traditional route

and attend a university, but I say gap year and Joe gets mad every time.
