James, we appreciate the time. Condolences right off the top on your Florida Gators not being able to defend their national championship and going out early.

We talked about earlier on the show, my Tennessee volunteers losing in the Elite 8 for a third straight round.

But over the last 20 years or so since you were at UF, Gators have had a pretty good run across pretty much every sport.

We've done all right.

Yeah, we usually rank number one or in the top two or three in the All Sports Award for best athletic performance across all the sports.

I was there during the Tebow years where we won a couple national championships there.

Two in basketball while I was there. We had a good one last year.

March Madness is tough though. Things certainly have to go your way at times,

and the Gators drew the short straw this year.

You were an athlete at UF when Tebow was there.

The whole era of the SEC with Tim Tebow, with Cam Newton, with Johnny Mansell, for people who've forgotten it,

where you just had these iconic sort of jaw-dropping talents at quarterback.

What was it like on campus when Tim Tebow was there?

It was filled with energy. I mean, people were so

passionate, you know, on those national championship nights, I can still remember everybody

hanging from the streetlights. There were couches burning in the middle of the road, very positive

spirit. And obviously Tim, you know, is a very moral, ethical Christian man. So he was all the more beloved on

campus for those reasons. So we were, it was, it was the time to be there. That's for sure. But it's

getting to be further in the past. You know, it's not yesterday anymore. So I hope they'll win again

soon. Okay, let's dive into the letter that you sent to the NFL because I've been arguing on this issue for a long time in media.

And there haven't been a lot of people that support me.
